flowers in the attic

so the last 48 hours has inspired me to lock my kids {and dogs} in the attic get on the ball with the moving of the playroom to the 3rd floor and the guest room to the first floor.
poor sweet P has an ear infection and loo has a UTI {aka TMI}
after multiple visits to the doc/vet, i dragged girls to vet again because i was convinced george had a dangerous scratch/bite on his face after bravely taking on some rabid animal.  so we went in to have said wound examined and get a rabies booster.  after the tech and vet had the feisty guy pinned down, it was discovered that the "wound" was in fact, red marker.  soooo, that was embarrassing. {insert red-faced emoticon.  yeah, you know the one i'm talking about}

here's some inspiration for the attic playroom project, obvs some more realistic than others, as we do not live in a mansion. {despite what many early M.A.S.H. games indicated}

love the authentic wall art here {no source for this image}

This made me cry laughing!! I had a somewhat similar incident a few years ago when I hired a plumber to fix our clogged bathtub. Turns out I had the drain closed. Like literally just had to flip the lever.

And I'm loving the wallpaper and pink/gold light fixture for your playroom.
